The last aspect is up to us to come up with, and aspect 5 allegedly won't be true in the future.

Yeah, like I said in the article, User Interfaces are matter of choice, so yes "It's up to us to come up with".

The Bitbucket guys are phasing out support for multiple authentication via facebook, twitter and the others except Google.
You still get to sign-in with your google account, though.
